Thanks to the generosity of our donors, CIS is surrounding students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.

Push Up & Up Challenge

Saturday, April 13, 2013 - Teams of six people compete to complete as many push-ups as possible in 30 minutes! Team registration is $125 ($25 per person) or you can donate $1 for one pushup. Sponsorship opportunities are available including sponsoring CIS school teams!

Volunteer With CIS

Mentor! Tutor! Give a child one hour of your time each week at one of our schools. Volunteers dedicate themselves to at least one year of one-on-one, weekly interaction with a CIS student. In addition, we have plenty of different volunteer opportunities at each school. Just give us a call at 843.740.6793.

Piggly WIggly Roundball ClassicPiggly Wiggly Roundball Classic

The Roundball Classic is a joint program of Communities In Schools of the Charleston Area, Inc. and the Rotary Club of North Charleston. This annual holiday basketball tournament features local and out-of-state high school teams and is currently sponsored by Piggly Wiggly. The event supports Communities In Schools and the Rotary Club of North Charleston scholarship program, both of which help many students in the Charleston area stay in school and further their educations.

Tickets to the event are $100 each or $185 per couple. Tables of 8 are $1,000 each and corporate tables are $1,500 each. Order by credit card or check and CIS will acknowledge the transaction by email. Thank you for your support; we're looking forward to seeing you at The Chocolate Affair in 2014.
